Step 4: Decoupling Capacitor

This acts as a bypass capacitor for the LCD, but the LCD is a big component that draws a lot of power, so it needs a big capacitor.

Tools Needed

  • Soldering iron
  • Cutter

Parts Needed

  • 1 x 10μF electrolytic capacitor
     

Instructions

  1. Solder the 10μF capacitor into C1.  Remember to insert the capacitor with correct polarity!  (+ and - signs)
